The beautiful park at the Nationalpark Wattenmeer has now become one of the largest zoos in Schleswig-Holstein. A visit to the barrier-free nature adventure park makes the family vacation perfect. Absolute highlights are the 1.2 million liters of "Robbarium", the largest lake seal pool in Germany, as well as the adjoining Basstölpel colony, which is the largest colony in Europe in Europe. Drumherum, there are more than 800 other wild and endangered animals on the 14.5 hectare site.
You do not have to be a child to feel comfortable in the West Coast. The enclosures as well as the landscape and bird villagers lie idyllically between fiery fields, small lakes and bird islands. In addition to a pet farm with stables and horse-drawn stables, strokes, terrariums and aquariums await the visitors. You can walk into the large seabirds without the need for separate gratings or see how the storks are circling freely over your heads. Daily swings provide information and entertainment.

A superlative sea seal pool! The "Robbarium", designed in a harbor ambience, is not only one of Germany's largest sea-basin swimming pools, it also has ebb and flow. With the Tide, the biorhythms of the North Sea will be modeled for the seals. Our seals are always a huge visitor attraction!

The free-flying stork colony in the West Coast is an insider's tip for bird lovers: More than three dozen black-and-white birds use the zoo each summer as a "nursery" and offer visitors a glimpse of their family life. Throughout the year, they stand dozens on the meadows, or take their rounds in the sky majestically.

The West Coast Park is located directly at the Schleswig-Holstein Wattenmeer National Park. In the zoo, more than 850 wild animals and domesticated animals are threatened with extinction. Visitors can enter, among other things, the large seabirds, without the need to separate grates, or experience the storks circling freely above their heads.
